Southborough's
Fire Stations

FIRE HEADQUARTERS
21 Main Street
Built: 1978
Occupied: 1979
Annual Town Meeting in 1977 appropriated $400,000 to construct this facility. A contractor was hired to prepare the site and to build the shell. Members of the Southborough Fire Department, as well as Assabet Vocational School, contributed countless hours to complete the interior of the building from flooring to finish painting and everything in between.

STATION 2
2 Harrington Court (at the intersection of Southville Road)
Built: 1954
Station 2 was built in 1954 as an on-call station. Permanent staffing of one firefighter started in 1970. The interior has changed several times over the years to accommodate staffing requirements. Most work within the building has been conducted by the talented members of the Southborough Fire Department.
