Southborough Firefighters assist Hopkinton at 2 Alarm House Fire
April 27, 2007
Southborough firefighters were called to assist Hopkinton at a two alarm house fire on Hayden Row on Friday, April 27th. Firefighters from Ashland and Milford also assisted.
Upon arrival Hopkinton firefighters were faced with heavy fire in a two car garage, extending into a two story house, as well as an injured person on scene.
Southborough firefighters assisted with interior overhaul of the fire, as well as providing a paramedic to assist Hopkinton in transporting the severely injured person.
A live electrical line hampered firefighters efforts until NStar Electric could de-energize the line.
No firefighters were injured in the fire.

The stretcher is retrieved for the injured person.
Fire still burns inside of the garage, but the heaviest of the fire is knocked down. Note the fire in front of the Jeep - it is the live electrical wire burning.
Firefighters advance into the garage as smoke emanates from the house.
