Two injured in Interstate 495 Crash
June 21, 2007
Two people were injured in a single vehicle crash on Interstate 495 on the evening of June 21.
Confusion as to the location of the accident resulted in Fire/Rescue/EMS units from Marlborough and Southborough being dispatched. The crash was southbound just north of Exit 23C (Simarano Drive).
A chain saw was used to cut the trees so that the passenger could be removed from the vehicle.
Both occupants were transported to U-Mass Worcester with non-life threatening injuries - one in the Southborough ambulance, the second in Marlborough's Patriot ambulance.
