Car nearly crashes into Parkerville Road house.

For the second time in nearly 20 years, a home on Parkerville Road had a visit by a car - this time, not nearly as bad as the first.

A call was received for a car that crashed into the house located at Parkerville & Southville Roads at approximately 10:50 PM. This was one of five weather related crashes that the Fire Department responded to on Friday. Responding firefighters found the car had only brushed against the foundation of the house. There were no injuries reported.

A car crashed through the front door of the same house nearly 20 years ago after being involved in a police chase. No one in the home was injured, but several occupants of the vehicle received serious injuries.

This time, it was a very close call.
